The Mururandia Farmers Cooperative Society has three factories (wet mills), and was first registered under the Coop Act on 1997. It comprises of four wet mills facilities two on the Mururandia site, one on the location called Their and one facility called Gatuya with head office located at Murarandia wetmill. Each factory is placed within an electoral zone/area, where the member vote to elect their representation on the management committee who subsequently forms the five-interim board of directors. The committees report to the cooperative members in annual general meetings.

Mururandia farmers cooperative Society has 12 permanent staff who are supported by the seasonal workers during peak coffee processing season. Mururandia FCS have 3,512 registered members all active, the breakdown of the members is as a follows 1,458 from Mururandia wetmills, 829 from Their and 1,225 from Gatuya. All the wetmills are located around Mururandia Town within Kahuro Sub-county, in Muranga County. Mururandia catchment is highly productive with multiple farming activities that supports different value chain; these includes dairy, horticultural, tea, Macadamia nuts. The factories are located on the highly productive south western slopes of Mt Kenya and on the eastern slopes of the Aberdare ranges. Main crop is harvested in October through December and Fly crop in April through June each year.

In unserem 15-Kilo Trommelröster rösten wir all unsere Kaffees schonend bei etwa 200 °C, um das beste Geschmackserlebnis für euch zu kreieren. Dabei nutzen wir all unsere Erfahrung, um beim Rösten die perfekte Balance zwischen den fruchtigen Nuancen und tollen Aromen der Kaffeekirsche zu finden.

Und erst wenn wir mit dem Ergebnis zufrieden sind, kommt der Kaffee in eure Hände und Münder.
